Cancellations

If you need to cancel or change an appointment then please give at least 24 hours notice otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Please make cancellations by telephone only (not text or email). I will also give you at least 24 hours  notice in the unlikely event that I need to cancel.

Payments

Fees are payable after each treatment unless otherwise stated.

Payments can be made by card, cash or cheque made payable to 'Jo Bareham'.
Refunds - Block bookings paid in advance
Refunds for courses of treatment where paid for in advance will only be made under extenuating circumstances. In such cases the average treatment price per session will be refunded based on the total booking price.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers  and tailored packages are available as gifts for special occasions, treats, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Please contact me to arrange.

How many sessions will I need?

It is difficult to put a figure on how many appointments you may need as each person is different and your condition / symptoms may influence the length of treatment. In general, Nutrition often requires 2-3 sessions and with Reflexology a course of 6 treatments is initially suggested as it has a building effect.

Lifestyle advice

As part of the holistic approach you may be given advice regarding your current lifestyle to improve your health and wellbeing. Exercise is generally a key part of this improvement particularly for clients aiming to reduce their weight.

Medication and Medical conditions

If you are taking perscribed medication for a particular condition, please highlight this when you enquire about making an appointment. Sometimes it may be necessary to contact your GP (only with your permission) to advise that your medication may need monitoring, particularly when receiving Reflexology.

Reflexology

What happens in the first consultation?

This will take up to 75 minutes including the case history. You will receive a full reflexology treatment and appropriate aftercare advice.

What happens in follow-up treatments?

Treatments last 45 minutes to 1 hour. It is normally recommended to initially have a course of six weekly sessions in order to detoxify, improve immunity and rebalance the body. During this time progress will be monitored. After a course of treatment, a preventative plan may be suggested to optimise your health e.g. one visit per month.

Less than 3 months pregnant?

Reflexology is not carried out prior to the first 12 weeks of pregnancy .
